I had to think for a while until I found one reason why this combination works so well: In the arrangement on the page, it seems as if the grass from the top pictures has it extension in the hanging green in the bottom one. Really tricky...

Thanks, Markus. The yellow of the dandelion in the top one sort of leads into the forsythia in the lower. Plus all the green stuff. I thought it would be interesting to do all of these as vertical pairs. Maybe I'll learn something from the selection process to get that to work.

Oops, funny, I forgot this pair is at WP, not at WPII. I'm running all the Spring pictures as pairs at WPII, but this was a pair that I didn't think quite fit into that set, but still worked too well together not to make them a post at the main blog.
