HARD HAT AREA

Brattleboro, Vermont

We didn't do a lot of walking around in the 96° heat so I only saw the main shopping streets downtown, but the occupancy seemed very good. In fact, unlike so many places around Connecticut and Massachusetts, the only storefronts that weren't currently doing business all seemed to be undergoing renovation.

Again, right place right time, may not be a hard hat but the bike helmet makes it for me nice job.

Carl, I have been studying this picture today and can't quite figure out what is going on. I thought the glass in the window was shaking, but the "Caution" sign on the glass (I think?) seems sharp. Or is this a double reflection?

Edd, double reflection. It's not plain plate glass. A sheet of metallic reflective film has been applied to the inside. Probably not for the remodeling, but for whatever was going on in the previous business.
