A surprising percentage of New York City umbrellas seem to be busted.

Also surprising is how every side walk vendor seems to be selling umbrellas when it rains in NYC!

I love this image....it reminds me of some of the classic Japanese prints by Hiroshige of the 53 Stations on the Road to Tokaido....her umbrella could be a huge straw rain hat....very very cool.
